The holiday season can be a wonderful time filled with joy and celebration, but it can also be overwhelming and stressful. As a burnout coach for ambitious high-achieving Enneagram 3 women, I understand the importance of finding peace and balance during this time. Here are three tips to help you have a peaceful Christmas holiday:

1. Take the space you need when you need it

It's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, but it's important to prioritize self-care and create moments of peace for yourself. Consider going for a 10-15 minute walk after each meal to clear your mind and recharge. Find a quiet room where you can retreat to if you need some time alone. And don't hesitate to take a break and hide in the bathroom if you need a moment of solitude. Remember, it's okay to prioritize your own well-being.

2. Honor your emotional process

The holiday season can bring up a range of emotions, both positive and negative. If you find yourself needing to process your emotions, communicate your needs to those around you. Let your loved ones know if you need space or if you simply need someone to listen. By expressing your needs, you can create an environment that supports your emotional well-being.

3. Give yourself permission to change your mind and cancel plans

During the Christmas holiday, there may be a lot of social obligations and commitments. However, it's important to remember that it's okay to change your mind and cancel plans if you're feeling overwhelmed or exhausted. Listen to your body and your intuition. If something doesn't feel right, give yourself permission to step back and take care of yourself. Prioritizing your well-being is essential for a peaceful and fulfilling holiday season.

Remember, the holiday season should be a time of joy and relaxation. By implementing these three tips, you can create a peaceful and meaningful Christmas holiday for yourself. Take care of yourself, honor your emotions, and give yourself permission to prioritize your well-being. Wishing you a peaceful and happy holiday season!
