How to use the Burnout-Proof Podcast for your Burnout Recovery…

First and foremost, please join me to celebrate 100 episodes of Burnout-Proof. I hope you’ve been loving coming on this burnout-proof journey with me.

Whether you’re brand-new to this podcast or an avid listener, let me paint the picture of the best, most intentional way you can become burnout-proof and how the podcast can help.

01. Find your Burnout Type.

There are 4 types of burnout—physical, overwhelm, emotional, and boredom burnout. Physical is obviously the self-care side of burnout. Emotional is the fulfillment side of burnout. Overwhelm is the productivity side of burnout. And boredom burnout is a branch of the emotional side of burnout where you’re just NOT being challenged enough or creating enough novelty in your life and work.

My recommendation? Click here to take my Quiz and find your burnout type.

02. Use the Show Notes and Tags to Get Episode Recs Specific To Your Burnout Type.

On the Coach Ellyn website, all show notes episodes have tags for the different types of burnout—physical, boredom, overwhelm, and emotional. You can always head to coachellyn.com and access those tags to see the episodes that will likely help you most, but let me make some recommendations…

03. Simplify & Focus on One Thing at a Time

Don’t overwhelm yourself. Don’t overcomplicate. The worse thing that you can do when it comes to burnout recovery and stress management is to do too much. You can create more overwhelm that way, which just spirals and creates more burnout and stress.

Keep it simple. Focus on one thing at a time, whatever that one thing might be.
