I stand with your family, your school, and your student. Which is why:

If your child is unsatisfied for any reason during the first 14 days or 4 hours (whichever comes first) of Private Tutoring or their Small Group Course, we will refund your money, minus $150 per session utilized.

To be eligible, your child must a) be enrolled in Private Tutoring (PT) or a Small Group Course (SGC) (“Programs”) and b) attend at least one (1) full-length lesson (duration determined by Program) within one year of the Program’s purchase date. In the event your child is enrolled in both PT and an SGC, you must make any refund request(s) separately, by Program.

You acknowledge that by requesting a refund, you are also requesting the removal of your child from their current Program. I encourage you to keep in touch with Coach Ellyn LLC, instead, and voice any concerns when you have them so we can make the program better for your student. Note that I am only one person at Coach Ellyn, LLC and I cannot account for personality conflicts (which do happen). It is recommended that, when booking a private tutoring program, you book a rapport call prior to booking a package.

Is there a money-back guarantee for Tutoring and membership services?

No, there is no money-back guarantee for Virtual Office Hours and the Video Resource Library.

You can purchase Private Tutoring in single sessions, packages of 12, 24, 36, or 48 hours and you can cancel your Virtual Office Hours or Video Resource Library membership at any time within the Skool community app where the Virtual Office Hours and video Resource Library membrship s are run

School Promotions

Coach Ellyn LLC occasionally invites schools to participate in discounts and/or special offers on our programs. These School Promotions are exclusive for families enrolled at participating schools and they cannot be transferred. School Promotions cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion, or discount. School Promotions have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Discounts for nurses, School Staff & Military Personnel

To school staff, nurses, and active military personnel, we believe your industries ask a lot of you, and we appreciate it. So we’re giving back. Any person who can provide documentation of their current standing, membership, or employment as a faculty, school staff, nurse, or active military member is eligible to receive 30% off the Video Resource Library, Virtual Office Hours, or a Small Group Course for themself or a family member. Discounts for School Staff, Nurses, & Military Personnel cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion, or discount.

Program Policies

Virtual Office Hours are available for students based in the United States. Virtual Office Hours is a subscription program, billed monthly on the same day of each month and is month-to-month. Subscriptions are purchased on a per-family basis and may be canceled at any time. If a Virtual Office Hours subscription charge is declined, the enrolled Customer will have 7 days to pay the balance of the unpaid subscription dues. If payment is not made on all unpaid dues by the 7th day, the Virtual Office Hours subscription will be canceled and if the customer wants to re-enroll in Virtual Office Hours at any time, the Customer must pay the current listed retail price for the Virtual Office Hours program.

Virtual Office Hours are office hours style tutoring sessions available in the most common subjects Sunday - Thursday. For a complete list of subjects, please visit here. Coach Ellyn LLC strives to offer a reasonably small group of students per tutor assigned. Coach Ellyn LLC cannot predict demand, but will make adjustments to Virtual Office Hours offerings to achieve this goal.

Virtual Office Hours subscriptions must be canceled prior to the renewal charge. Virtual Office Hours charges will not be refunded after the charge has been made. When a Virtual Office Hours subscription is canceled, the student will lose access to their Virtual Office Hours subscription at the end of the billing period.

Private Tutoring Policies

Coach Ellyn LLC private tutoring can be purchased in packages of 12, 24, and 36 hours. The minimum purchase is a 12-hour package.

Purchasing a private tutoring package reserves time with Ellyn Schinke (founder, owner, and head tutor at Coach Ellyn LLC) and private tutoring is only available on a space-available basis, capping at 10-15 students. As much as possible, it is recommended that all tutoring sessions are scheduled prior to the start of the program, at times mutually agreeable in the student’s schedule and Ellyn’s schedule. These times can be changed later. It is not recommended to schedule tutoring on as needed. Sessions are available first-come, first-serve and it’s possible a student will lose their preferred time if they have not booked their sessions ahead of time.

Once tutoring sessions are scheduled, Coach Ellyn LLC has a flexible cancellation policy as her goal is to ensure that the hours purchased are used for what students need when you need them. However, Coach Ellyn LLC reserves the right to charge families for “no show” sessions at Ellyn Schinke’s discretion if she feels families are taking advantage of her flexible cnacellation. An example of this might be a family who is consistently scheduled on Wednesday at 7pm EST, but cancels their weekly session 3 out of 4 times in a month-long period. This family may be subject to being charged for a “no show” session at Ellyn Schinke’s discretion.

As part of conducting the highest quality programs with every student, Coach Ellyn LLC may need to end the session 5 minutes before the appointed finish time in instances where her students are scheduled back-to-back. This is critical so that Ellyn can update each student’s goals, prepare communication, assign and distribute homework, and identify the best session materials for the following meeting with that student.

For programs that require Ellyn Schinke to work outside of session time on custom material, such as reviewing a student’s written work to provide feedback, reviewing and preparing for specific science laboratory design that is unique to that student’s class, or developing and conducting a custom course from scratch for that private tutoring student, Coach Ellyn LLC reserves the right to deduct tutoring hours for that custom preparation work. In those cases, Ellyn Schinke will contact the client ahead of time before performing that custom work and deducting the time.

Regarding payment plans, if a payment bounces, the tutoring program may be paused until the payment is received. If the payment is not received within 2 weeks of the initial declined payment, any sessions scheduled in the future may be subject to cancellation in an effort to resolve payment issues efficiently. Group Tutoring Policies

These policies apply to the following Coach Ellyn LLC products: Small Group Classes.

Group Tutoring programs have various enrollment caps. Coach Ellyn LLC reserves the right to adjust the maximum number of student enrollments per course.

Students may enroll in an Coach Ellyn LLC Group Tutoring program up until the start date of the program. Coach Ellyn LLC reserves the right to cancel any Group Tutoring program. Factors outside of Coach Ellyn LLC’s control may affect session schedules. In such events, we do our best to schedule a convenient make-up class; however, we cannot guarantee a make-up session will be scheduled or that the make-up will fit the schedule of every student. In cases of entire course cancellation, affected families will be notified at least 5 days prior to the Group Tutoring program start date, and Coach Ellyn LLC will work with the affected students to make arrangements for another Group Tutoring program. In rare instances, another Group Tutoring program may not be available to meet the needs of the student in which case, the Group Tutoring program package will be refunded.

Group Tutoring enrollment cancellation or change requests must be made by the Customer prior to the Enrollment Change/Cancellation Deadline, which is two weeks prior to the start of any Group Tutoring program. Coach Ellyn LLC strives to provide the best quality experience possible for all of our customers, and to uphold this quality. Ellyn Schinke’s time is reserved for an entire Group Tutoring program duration. As such, enrollment changes cannot be made after the Enrollment Change/Cancellation Deadline. After that point, a student’s enrollment is locked, and their seat is permanently reserved. Any request after the Deadline will not be reviewed or processed, and there will be no prorating or refunds given due to late registration (registration made within or after the two weeks prior to the start date of a Group Tutoring program) or missed sessions. Refund requests made for students affected by a Group Tutoring program canceled by Coach Ellyn LLC may be made after the Enrollment Change/Cancellation Deadline.

As part of conducting the highest quality group course programs, Ellyn Schinke may end each session 5 minutes before the appointed finish time. This is critical to update each student’s goals, prepare parent communication, and identify the best session materials for the following class meeting.

Refund Policies

Refund requests may be submitted according to the policies outlined in Coach Ellyn LLC ’s product policies. Once refund requests have been submitted in writing, they will be reviewed to determine if they are in accordance with the enrolled product’s terms. If in line with the enrolled product’s terms, refunds will be processed on the card on file. Once requested, refunds typically take 7-10 business days to process.
