The standard I’m working toward
I aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
Status: partially conformantSome content doesn’t fully meet the standard yet. I’m fixing issues as I find them, and I’d rather be honest about that than claim the site is perfect.
What I do to check
- Every custom page is scanned with automated accessibility testing (axe) before it goes live, and again when it changes.
- I check color contrast, keyboard-only navigation, visible focus, zoom, and reduced-motion settings.
- Animations respect your device’s “reduce motion” setting, and anything that scrolls on its own has a pause button.
- I re-test when I add new pages, sections, or embedded tools.
Known limitations
- Booking: appointment booking runs on Google Calendar. If you have trouble booking, email me and I’ll schedule with you directly.
- Videos and podcast players: some videos are hosted on YouTube and some audio players come from Spotify. YouTube captions may be auto-generated. If you need a transcript, email me and I’ll send one.
- Checkout, member areas, and forms are provided by Squarespace. Some forms use reCAPTCHA spam protection. If a form or checkout doesn’t work for you, email me and I’ll help you finish.
- Notion templates and downloads open in Notion or as files. If a download isn’t accessible to you, I’ll provide an accessible version on request.
