#11 - Mini-Sode: How Do You Define Success?

Do conventional ways of defining success work for you? Do you even know what success means to you? Is it a certain title at work? Is it a certain level of income? Or is it something a bit more abstract than that?

STEP ONE

Start exploring other peoples definitions of success and start deciding if they resonate with you? Is there a format that you like? Start taking pieces of the different definitions and start picking out the pieces that you like.

This doesn’t necessarily mean take their definition for yours! Success is too personal for that.

STEP TWO

Try something different. When I was enrolled in Brendon Burchard’s High Performance Master’s program, we used a different method to β€œdefine” success. Instead of defining success with a couple sentences, we instead defined success with 3 words that encapsulated what we felt when had been successful in the past. My words are momentum, growth and resilience.

Try coming up with 3 words for yourself!
